The Grand M's Seven Secrets

Recently, the Grand Mademoiselle was tagged by Heelcandy's Editor Sara to reveal seven secrets about herself. This list is for you, Sara, and I encourage all Grand M's to write down their own seven secrets and share them with others.

1) Whenever I buy a new pair of shoes, I keep them wrapped in tissue paper and neatly tucked in their original boxes, which I occasionally display on the dining room table to admire for my own personal pleasure.
2) If I'm feeling particularly bold and brave, I take a pair out of their box, slip them on, lie on my back in bed and just stare...
3) The only fashion item that I will not spend less than $200 on is jeans.
4) I wear my grandmother's expensive opal and diamond ring every day; even with sweatpants.
5) I wear real fur.
6) The only newspaper that I read is The New York Post. The only parts of The New York Post that I actually even read are Page Six and the horoscopes.
7) I have been known to clean the bathroom in heels.

There they are, my seven secrets. It takes no small amount of courage to reveal these things, but the importance of articulating them, even if only to yourself, is monumental. Others may disapprove of what they find below the tip of your glistening iceberg, but no matter. They don't walk in your shoes.
